I've had people ask about Brita and would I do surgery again for her knowing the results. The absolute answer is YES! She lived a great life for another 8 years until she was 13 years old!
To recover from this surgery, Brita's activity was limited. She was a strong, in shape girl so she had that going for her and, now that she was not in pain, her recovery was remarkable.

The following videos were taken on her 12th birthday! She has a special "me only with mom" day including swimming, getting a bite on a sleeve, ice cream and a visit to some friends.
